Self Portrait II

Digital photomontage

Part One

Created from a process that is also described as “digital photomontage” uses minimal techniques with computer-assisted frameworks plus the combination of a set of self-portraits, site visits, and material samples all arranged into a single composite photograph that is then scanned in at a high resolution and printed 10x its original size revealing fine details and textures.

Part Two

By slicing, cutting, and decontextualizing photographs I took or of myself; one starts to gain a greater appreciation of the original images. You begin to understand why and how these images have been taken.
